I just can't resist to blog this:

Our competitor GIS organizes the Lotusphere Nachlese event in Hamburg. Since we didn't managed to see Ed Brill at Lotusphere in Orlando, my collegue Michael registered to this event and got a confirmation since Ed holds a speech there.

Of course, we were curious how the collegues from GIS would organize such an event, too :-)

Unfortunately, today a fellow of GIS called us and said that Michael is not allowed to attend since we are a competitor and the event is for GIS customers only. I was not aware that the Lotusphere Nachlese events are that restricted!
Well, no problem, if they say so, we'll accept that. Ed, we will meet you another other time on another event :-)

To the fellows of GIS: no hard feelings, next time we organize such an event, we will invite you personally.
